Mark Davis

I built my first shed at 24 in Grove City, using plans that turned out wrong about the roof pitch. Twelve years and a Construction Systems Management degree from Ohio State later, I think about that roof whenever I write about sizing or materials. Most of my work now is small structures like sheds, garden cabins, and workshops for clients around Ohio. The posts come from whatever I was dealing with, whether it's a permit office wanting paperwork I didn't have, a door hinge that failed because nobody weighed the door before hanging it. Nothing here is theoretical.
